You should discuss it and specify details while entering into an insurance contract with the insurer in the insurance company you have selected. As a rule, insurance companies offer insurance coverage against numerous risks, including fire, explosion, a stroke of lightning, storm, hail, flooding, water level raising, vandalism, burglary, theft, pipe leakage, destruction of technological systems, electricity accidents, damage done by wild animals, etc.

First of all, read your insurance contract and find out what you need to do in order to get compensation. Application for the compensation for damage should be filed to the insurer as soon as possible after the insured event has arrived. The term, within the duration of which the insurance company undertakes to compensate for the damage, is specified in the insurance contract. The term is usually one month after the application for the compensation for damage has been filed.
